His focus on Employment Law has allowed James the ability to represent both employees and employers. Such representation does not begin once a lawsuit has been filed. Rather, James enjoys working on the preventative aspects in the workplace as well. Covering development and preparation of employee and management handbooks, job descriptions and administrative procedures just to name a few. His practice includes providing seminars and workshops on preventing and resolving workplace disputes.
Born in 1965, James attended Scottsbluff High School before moving on to the University of Nebraska where he graduated with a B.A. in History. James was a wingback and letter winner for Coach Tom Osborne and the Cornhuskers.
James married Joni Schaub in 1986 and has a son and daughter. Community activities are a big part of the Worden family. James is the president of Community Christian School Foundation, a board member and past president of Crime Stoppers, board member and past president of Community Christian School, Huddle leader of the Scottsbluff Junior High FCA, and board member of the Scotts Bluff Country Club. James was also a member of the board for the Panhandle Humane Society and campaign chairman for the Scotts Bluff County United Way.
Practicing in his hometown, James has a unique perspective on the needs and issues of the Panhandle.
